I got the driveshaft out and everything and would take it to the driveshaft shop. About how much should it cost to have them install 3 new u-joints and a new center carrier bearing on a two-piece driveshaft?

i am not sure, but a new slip yoke, 2 new u joints, and lenthening my 1 piece shaft was liek $350, i think
so i assume yours would be quite a bit less.

Open ended question.

What joints are they going to use? Brute force is cheaper then a Spicer.
Same with the carrier bearing.

They going to ballance it ?

Place I use would do the u-joints for about $50-60 for Brutes.about $12 more for Spicers.

Never priced a carrier bearing so don't know about that.

im getting u joints from napa for like $12 each... the bearing is like $19 but you need to have it pressed.. im figuring maybe two hours labor?? $75 per hour?? maybe $200??? give or take a few $$$

Well, turns out I only needed one u-joint and the carrier bearing and for them to put those two things on costed me 65 bucks.

And no I didn't need it to be balanced.
