6 cyl. power steering
hey guys, I do not normally post here since I have a '69, but I did find a 198? C/10 plain jane in the junk yard with 250 six and automatic. it has what looks to be a complete p/s setup, and it is on the option sticker too. i know the 67-72 truck factory 6 cyl p/s is rare, but wasn't sure if the brackets were different or not for the integral head sixes.
is this worth picking up? i don't know what the owner would want for it. thanks...

The pump brackets are different because the later style 250 has the integrated intake manifold with the head. believe me I have been eyeing my daughter's 82 for my 70 the same way. If you had the origial brackets for the old style 250, then the pump anfd all would work...so I'm told.
I knpow on the 82 all the PS fitting are metric also. Don't know what year the cange was made eiter, although they make adapters to mate it to the SAE thread. Maybe worth something, but definitely not as rara as for our older era 6's.
