69/70 Sub questions/ parting out

Hello....I looked at a Sub yesterday, buying for the front clip and tub(looking at trying to crew cab it), this thing has roof air but nothing in the dash, was that how the Burbs were cooled??...the compressor and hoses were still there.....all the interior is there and looks real nice, the front seat and back seat looked almost perfect, the mice had taken over the middle seat......the rear is hatch and tailgate, pretty rusty.........Just trying to figure out about the air, if it's original and if anyone out there would be interested in some pieces.....I'll probably try to get it picked up in the next week......Thanks Troy

I would be interested in Seats and hardware, as well as some interior parts if they are there.

That is how the air was between 1967 and 1971. 1972 was the first year for "dual air".

I might be interested in a spare well if it's in good shape. PM me if you want to sell and it is good.

got it home

Got the burb home yesterday, going out today to remove the front clip and passenger front door, the visors/mirror, trans x-member and possibly the column......after that everything is free game, would prefer to sell it complete for $400, but we'll talk if the parts your after are something that's easy to ship.......I have a butt load of pics, but I'm having troubles posting them, I'll get some resized and put on.......need pics of something ask, lots of good parts.....PO was driving it and pulled engine/trans and parked it, fairly complete right down to the air and power steering, should have title next week......Thanks Troy

I would possibly like those rear panels in the cargo area.

Also the internal lock hardware for the drivers and 3rd door (the parts that go from the lock to the top door sill)

please send whatever pics you have to chris@productiongroup.tv

interested in seeing the dash area and well everything!

If available. I'd love the three pieces of lower exterior trim on the passenger door and fore/aft the rear wheel.

Might be a hassle to ship to NJ 08015, but I could use all the plastic a/c "tunnel" pcs on the roof, mine are all dried out & cracked.
Thanks,
Harry

parts

I'd love that jack handle and is there a chrome strip on the floor just behind the second seat where the floor rises and turns to wood. "Chevrolet" emblem on the rear gate in tact? thanks

John

I see some parts I could use if you still have them.

The roof a/c setup (the whole thing)
the rear door panels(3rd door, and the other side)
the panels in the cargo area
the little clamps that hold the front of the second seat to the floor
Whatever parts of the headliner are still good.
the trim strip right in front of the tailgate.

Let me know what of that stuff you still have, and what you would want for it. I need all of that stuff, just depends on what you would be able to ship.

Hi Guys......During the next few days I'll strip out everything that has been asked about, I'll be able to get better pics of the pieces and should be able to give you prices and condition. A couple of you have asked about the A/C, I'll have to see what it will be like to ship. NEON, you say the whole thing, how far would you like for me to chase the hoses?? I will be talking to you in order of received request, some of you are wanting the same pieces. Thanks Troy

On the hoses, if you just cut them where they attach to the unit on the roof, thats probably fine. I just need the entire inside part, not the stuff under the hood.

Actually, if the lines are still good, take the whole thing, if not then just the fittings on the ends thats inside of the truck would be fine.

Hi Guys...quick update, I have about everything stripped from the poor thing except the roof air, the head liner, and the trim....the doors and the tailgate will be last to come off........It has a real nice third door, and tailgate would probably be usable with a little work......If someone is interested in the tub let me know, if not I'll pull the glass and the arms/rearend and off to become beer cans......In the next couple of days I should have everything else out, once that's done it only be a week or so then it's off to the crusher..............Thanks Troy
