Post Pics of Stepside Custom Rear Ideas
Looking for ideas to clean up the rear of my stepside. I saw
a 73+ truck in traffic a couple days ago that had the lights mounted in the fenders that looked better than stock I thought. Anyone have pics or point me to a tread that shows different ideas for lights, chains, and bumpers of the stepsides? Really interested in what others have done with the rear lights to help the fenders be more visible from behind and any better latches than the chains.

PM User gr8scott51. He used an early 80's El Camino bumper that has integrated taillights. It's the only non-stock tailight treatment I've seen that does not look awkward.
Chains are part of the "period" appeal of these stepsides IMO, but there are many ways to eliminate if you feel the urge. Do a search on "eliminating chains" and you should find some ideas.

I was thinking of using plastic decortive chanes if I can find some in steel colour. I dont think they would scratch as much as steel and still look stock.
