Rear tank filler door & bed guard--how to

Some pics of a neat guard to cover the inside filler tubes on a rear tank install.

This bed has an outside door off another car/truck,

I could build a flat/square box type cover, but this looks so smooth. It looks like it was made for this. It fits the floor & inside wall just right.

You could probably keep the filler tubes that came with this piece. They should be at the right angle to the inside wall, and be the right size to connect to the tank filler & vent tubes.

You have to cut it all to pieces. Plasma cutter helps, die grinder/cut off also needed, and you will eat a lot of rust, sparks & dirt before you are done!!! And be careful if the tank is still there.

For Sale

...and if you don't want to do all this...I have a couple extra. They should work well with the filler behind the marker light, too. Should save cutting & boxing the inside of the bed, if you can get the hinge welded and covered by this piece...not sure.

I will send you one for $100 delivered---add $20 for the filler tubes. You will get to clean it up and remove any extra metal left from the cutting...like the yellow one in the above pic.
