Is that seat cover thick and strong like the fugly indian blanket ones, or is it thin as pantyhose?
It actually looks good in there, the yellow is just close enough to the dash yellow.
How about a brand, or if it is an E-bay store type deal... a link.

AHH, heater control!

The heater controls are tie-wrapped there so it won't hang as I've been in the HIT and MISS "get-to-it-when-can" process of swapping out the old Audivox 8-track that was in there for a nice old AM radio.

I am yet to finish this though! Too many interruptions, so in the mean time, in order for the A/C-HEAT switches to work, it has found that new home...temporarily. Ash tray has been removed too.

Just need to get the hoses out of the way and test the speaker. I just put a Chevelle mirror in there last week too, nice...wider than the truck one was.

I won the seat covers, bidding through an ebay store auction...they are not THICK neoprene like a wet suit, but they are nicer than those UGLY SOUTHWESTERN things that you can find everywhere.

I'll try to find the name of the auction listing company and post it.

Question Chevelle mirror

I try'ed a GTO mirror and it worked fine except the visor's want be able to be used. You have to reset the mirror everytime when you pull the visor down. Have you checked this yet.
Just a heads up on it. Hope yours works.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Good point...no I have not checked that. But I rarely use the visors in any of my vehicles. My other mirror was discolored on the back side and cloudy. This one is nice, clean and lean looking, so I'd endure the occasional hassle for the sake of being able to see more and see better otu the back window.

I'll check that out this afternoon. THANKS for the info.

I've found that 60's caddilacs have awsome rearview mirrors, the stainless is polished 10 times better, the the glass doesn't cloud up like the POS truck mirrors do. I have one in the Longhorn, and had one for the GMC, but i sold it when I was hurting for gas money.

seatcoverconnection.com

The place that I pruchased the seat cover from was seatcoverconnection.com.

As for the visors, they do bump the mirror...so I am shopping for a replacement pair of visors that won't bump...I like my mirror!

Looking at this pic made me go out looking for a new seat cover...I wanted instant gratification too, no mail order would have done it.
Ended up with a crappy fitting wall mart POS.
At least it does look better than before.
