TRUCK PHOTOS (not dialup friendly

OK, I thought since I FINALLY got the pics back that I'd share some...

Yes, that IS duct tape on the seat.

the tower of power! Oh yeah, 250 CI of chevy fury! (this is before the new plug wires).

the only option this thing came with - an AM radio Note the manual choke. BTW, what is that black plug to the right of the heater controls for? Was that an option that was left out?

The trick sound system - a hole filled glasspack and a curved pipe. Notice the black smear where it's been running rich. Also note the rust that will need fixed.

none of the gauges, horn, radio or heater controls work. Oh, and the window cranks are very stiff. 2 hands on those suckers

the shiny thing sticking out of the hole is the seat belt buckle

check the wasp nest on the rearend. BTW, anyone know where I can get tires with tread like this?

That black knob is where a cigarette lighter would have gone. Guess it was a nonsmoker

on your window cranks, your best bet is to pull them out and lube them up real good. I have tried many times with them in the truck, but nothing compairs to takin them out and cleanign them up real good. Lots of lube in the gear, cover the spring real good, and where the metal touches the other metal arm in the X in the center of the door. (That'll make more sence when you get the door panel off)
If you don't do this, you'll end up screwin up your regulator pretty good.

Your truck looks like my friend's truck's twin! His is in a little bit better shape though, with only about 34,000 original miles! Oh yeah, his is also has a 283 V8 with a 3 on the tree.

sweet! And about the windows, yeah I was going to lube 'em up really good. The DS door definitely needs replaced (the door skin where it bolts to the top hinge has mostly rotted away) So I was going to wait to do all that stuff until I got the new door and everything out of the old one. And I did notice a lack of any smoking devices in this thing, so I guess that would make sense about the lighter. yeah, the heater controls need replaced (already have one) and all the cables will need replaced as they're all stuck and I don't want to dick with lubing up the original cables.

oh yeah, BTW, do you guys know of any place that sells front bed corners and the aluminum trim (with hardware)? As you can see, I'm missing most of it from the rear and the side pieces are pretty beat up.
