This was our 1972 Chevy K/5 Blazer. Our family got it in 1973 and these pictures were taken in about 1975.

The truck looks older because the slides were dirty (recovered froma fire) and the truck was on vaction with some family off-roading in Northern Michigan.

It had the factory feathers decals, but what is lacking is the roof trim.

Since we bought it one year old, I don't know if the truck originally came with the roof trim or it was deleted for some reason.

Feathers pictures are so rare, its hard to compare with other models.

It had 350 and auto trans.

I am working on getting a bunch of old slides from my Dad. I am going to take them to Costco- they will turn them into digital pictures for about 18 cents a slide. Kinda spendy, but my Dad owned quite a few Chevy trucks and a few blazers and I am wondering if he had some good pics with trucks in them. I will post those pics when I get them- very cool Indiana Smoker!!! Is that you in the pics?? (the little blonde cutie!) Don't see many feather blazer pics keep em coming!

Thanks Diane,

But that's actually my brother eating the hot dog in that last picture.

I really wish I could find a company to make some repo decals. There has got to be a demand for them.
