Headlight switch blues

I got my new bezel for the 68 from Wes the other day and I was planning to install it last night. As I was connecting everything I went to put the piece back into the head light switch and bang the headlight switch just disentegrated onto the floor board. Think it was time for a new one. What do you guys think?

:p

are you referring to the switch that is in the dash? or are you talking about the headlight lamp/bulb? if its the assembly under the dash, its pretty easy to reassemble...

its not so lucky if its the glass bulb you are talking about

I have one I took apart cleaned and replated you can have for $7 plus ride. I can send it USPS to save money. It looks really good and will work like new. Just don't have a rod for the front, but if you still have yours it will work.

I sold a couple of these on ebay for $15 a while ago. They turn out really nice, not that anyone can see them when they are installed. But I know it's good.
