Nice job! I really like the color you chose...I was considering that color for my crew cab project.

Maybe next year Got a plan. My girls' nephew is going to be stationed in MS when he gets back stateside. I told her that next year, we can drive down to see him. She said it sounds fine so maybe. If I come down, I will bring my burb but I will also bring the 91' down on a trailer....

BTW, if you guys do some draggin', I want to see the video!!! I have to figure out how to upload a video into the computer. I have some nice draggin' footage of my 91'

I'd like to pick your brain a bit. I'm doing a build up on 22's and am curiouson some things. I noticed your not running a heater box outside. I also see your using stock upper and lower control arms. Any pictures of your suspension out back. Did you 2 link or? Are you having steerting linkage problems? Truck looks real nice. Great job!

Questions

Dub, I'm going to run a Hotrod Air underdash unit and the only thing on the firewall will be a billet plate with the air/heat hoses hooking up to it. I had alot of steering linkage problems had to make my own tierods. I used the stock inner ends and adjuster sleeves, Cut the sleeve welded it to steel pipe w/ one end threaded for a 5/8" heim joint. Then I was able to hook the heim up on the bottom of the spindle. Also had to get 3 universals, a support bearing, and some new steering shaft so I could clear upper control arm. If I had to do it again I'd go w/ a rack, will probally change over to one when I get the money. I would definitely go w/ a rack if I were you and wanted to lay on 22"s. In the back I used stock link bars(just plated them) and had to build some 3" blocks to lay all the way out. So you prbally need to go w/ some type of straight 2-link or 4-link. The stock links lay against the frame w/ about 2.5" to go. Haven't took pics of back yet but I will once I finish welding and painting everything. Hope this helps you out, good luck. Later

Looking good, cant say the avalanche lights are my style, but still interesting, and impressive.

Hey BBB. Longtime. Hope all is good. I heard about your mis-fortune. Soory!

Travis' will be done soon. I can post some pictures here if the guys don't mind seeing a later model truck? We have just started on mine. I just got in about $3K in parts and fixin to order again as much. We are presently running a dry build and then tearing back down for powder coat, paint, etc. Wheels have been purchased and will be here soon I hope. I don't think its in any shape to post photo's of yet. The LT1 is just sitting in it for Mock-up reasons only. The frame has to be filled and smoothed prior to powder-coat. The disc rear-end is working nicely and I'm pretty proud of the 2 link design.

How's your build coming? All you gotta do is call and I'll help. Post some on here!

Hey John, My Sub has factory Air (in the ceiling) with nothing in the dash. Can I get a heater only set up from this company you refer to?

Chad

sweet sounds good.... can't wait to see that beast, i am still pissed that you got a burb before me lol.
my project hasn't changed much in the last couple of months, my garage isn't handicap accessible, so is has been hard to do anything on the truck. i am only using one crutch now and hopefully i can finsh welding the cab before i have to go back to work.

heater

Dub, I'm pretty sure you can get just a heater unit but I'd go ahead and get the whole thing and use it and the rear unit(icehouse). Sounds like your project is going to be killer.

Ahh how I wish I had the ability to rip into a truck and know that I can do whatever I wanted with it. So much fun.
