Will a factory 73-87 GM streo AM/FM stereo cassette for pickups fit in the dash cut out for a 67-72 model? Sure looks like it could.

Nope, you'll have to cut a little from the top and bottom. It won't be much though, maybe 1/4-1/2 inch.
