To The Top...when ever some oen responds to a post, it brings it to the top of the list. This way, some one can keep there message on top if they are needing a speedy responce, or if they are trying to get some one's attention.

When I was new on the board I wondered too, but didn't have the whatever it takes to ask so I just kept reading posts till I found out. It pretty much works with all those things. Like LMAO for example - that's laugh my ass off.

lol....
hey Greg, i never got to say welcome to the forum and i just noticed that youre an electrician, I am very interested in this field and i have been for quite some time now(years), and am having a hard time in finding a way to get into any related training, etc. how did you get into it, is it so hard ot get started doing this line of work because of how things have been economically in the last couple years, or am i just in the wrong place, and you got really lucky- in the right pace at the right time ? apparently are no demands for electricians currently [This message has been edited by Fast68Chevy (edited April 02, 2002).] |

fast68chevy, My Dad is also an electrician. So, I started wiring housing when I was about 12. Since then I took a 2 year class at our Career Developement Center (high school level) and then after high school I took 2 years at a Techinical College in electronic engineering. If you are interested, you might can find someone wiring houses and begin as being their grunt, pulling wires underneath the house and in the attic. Learn the basics of the individual circuits and move on to making the connections for each outlet or switch box. Some of them can be challenging. You will have to be patient while learning, it takes time. Hope this helps. Greg
