need body mount help

I'm in the proccess of swapping the rusted shell off my 86 k10 with a much better 87 c10 donor. The body mounts came off the 86 pretty easy exept the cab. I tried an impact on the rear cab mounts and they wouldn't budge....ended up torching the hell out of them to cut them out.

My question is: If the ones on the donor are like this what is a good tip for getting them apart without cutting it apart?

yeah, but to torch the bolts I ended up burning the rubber mount and cutting into the cab support.

How about cutting off the bolt head, removing the cab, and taking the rest off when you have better access to them?

I have found that wd-40/liquid wrench, a propane torch, and a big breaker bar will loosen just about every stuck bolt. Working the bolt back and forth will help loosen it as well.

A strong breaker bar, another bar to extend it so you have alot of leverage, and snap the bolts

I'll try that, I already broke an extension because I couldn't get the breaker bar in there without it. But that was all 3/8" stuff. I'll go bigger next try!
