bigblock numbers
 A friend of mine wants to sell me a 454 that needs head work. it has an edelbrock alum. intake and a six month old four barrel for six hundred. my quandry is i have the block numbers off the drivers side rear lip (10069286) and the date code off the pass. rear (d210) and I need to decypher them. Mortec wasn,t much help. need to find a site that will tell horsepower-torque- and date, any help will be very much apreciated. thank,s big lou,

If you have the suffix number it would help as the application, hp, etc. usually are listed under that code.
