backup light auto vs. standard
Problem is no backup lights. Looks like the cab used to be for an automatic and now is a standard truck. I have the connector for the standard transmission but how do I wire it to get it to work with the rest of the stock wiring?

If your transmission is a column shift, it is easy, as the backup light light switch mounts to the column in the auto position.
If it is a truck floor shift 4 speed, then the backup light switch is on the transmission and you will need to run the two green wires to the pigtail that comes off of the fuse box. The other option is to get the harness from a floor shift truck as the wiring is set up in it. Jim |

Quick fix for inspection reasons...toggle switch. (just in case this is the real reason you want to fix the lights)

But use a pilot light so you won't look like me driving 60mph with the backup lights on.
