If you do decide to switch over -- I'd be interested in buying your driver's side power window switch!

I dunno anything about the swap, but keep me in mind if you do it...

The doors are supposed to be the same So i would assume get the proper regulators and remove the wires out of your door and unplug them from the main harness. Shoulndt be too bad . Have you got electric locks too?

The doors are the same. If you are going to switch back you will need the manual regulators and parts. The 79 Pwr Window are externally grounded and have there problems. 81 and Up were changed to Internally grounded with less problems. The motors, switches, etc. are cheaper and easyier to get. but you would have to change everything, Pwr window & locks wiring harness (which is seperate from the main harness), switches, regulators, etc. I did the swap in my 79 K3500 3+3
