Water in 350

Well, my dad and I cleaned out the basement today, mostly the 78 truck frame and 78 350. Before we put the 350 in the basment 10 years ago it sat out side, uncovered for about 6 years. My dad had me take it apart, here are the results.....




If you look at the second pic, left side of the cylinder wall, you will see a nice big crack. Before the cylinders were full to the top with rust, if you could look closer, the pistons are all corroded too. We also broke the dizzy shaft housing pulling it out, the shaft is still rusted into the block.
Not a big loss, the motor had like very high mileage anyway.
