Need Advice on Chev Astro Van
Hello, I have a 1998 Chevrolet Astro Van. It came with remotes for unlocking the doors. They no longer work and we tried replacing the battery but that still doesnt work so it has to be something else. Any advice on what could be wrong, how to fix the problem and the approximate cost of getting it fixed at the dealership??? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

They probably just fell out of sync with the car computer if the battaries were out for too long. I'm not sure, but it might say in the manual how to re-syncronize the remotes. If not, the local dealer would be glad to do it for you for a service charge.
