West coast Good Score.........

just brought home a 71 shorty 4x4. Needs some work. But the truck is about 95% original.

ok...if you all need to know. I paid $1600.00. First thing was to have the truck degreased. Thanks to Frost89434 and a powerfull pressure washer, we got 75% of the grime off. I pulled the engine this morning...easter day and am getting ready to break down the engine. The 2nd owner who I bought it from said it was fouling the plugs. After looking at the heads, I think the valve guildes are bad. I will break down the Monday all the way and see what else is wrong. Future plans for this 71????? A semi daily driver that is dependable.....and keep it 95% OEM.
