doors difrent from trucks to blazer/jimmy?

For argument sake my father in law thinks that my new door could come from a blazer/jimmy but I say no cause they dont come with window frames but Im not 100% shure on this. Do all jimmy amd blazers not have window frames and if some do, would fit trucks. I hope that Im rite cause he will laugh at me and I hate that. I cant let him win lol.

They are not the same. All Blazer's and Jimmy's are missing the top part, the window frame. Otherwise the doors are the same. You can take a pickup door and cut the window frame off and clean the areas where you cut it off.
So I guess the answer is Blazer's and Jimmy's doors are different from trucks.

You could make a truck door a blazer door but you would be better off using the re-inforcing pieces from a blazer door and putting them on the truck door. Cut the window piece off and you can make it work. Blazer doors have extra reinforcement in them to make it support the tub weight better.

Now after I read this a second time it appears the question is could a blazer door be made into a truck door... well yah it could too. Would probably be a stronger door. There are little pieces on the inner jam that would need to be taken off and you could weld the truck door window frame onto a blazer door.
