67 Front Sway Bar
What would you do?
I have access to a factory front sway bar to use on my 67 SWB pickup, brackets and all. I will need to clean the parts up and buy new bushings. Would you spend the $ on that or just buy a new setup from ECE or one of the other aftermarket suppliers? Looks like I can buy a setup fro $150 or so? Thanks. |

I would take the factory sway-bar instead of ordering a new one from a vendor! The ECE kit and the factory one look identical, and will do the same amount of 'work'. I got mine from a junkyard, and after I had everything that I needed to do it, $50... I saved $100, that good enough reason for me
![]() The only thing that I needed was the frame mount brackets from ECE, since the originals were rivited on the frame, I just ordered new ones ($20 from ECE, part# 02-5401 or lowered #02-5402). Hope this helps ya out

Thanks.
I see ECE has brackets for lowered trucks too, since I'm doing a 2/4 I may just go with those. Joe |

I read a tech article about installing ECE raised anti-sway bar brackets recently. Quality pieces that look to help allot.
![]() BTW, what's up Joe?! ![]()

I also recall seeing that the IROC (vs. standard camaro) sway bars were like 1/8th thicker ?
