hauling a motor?

Anyone haul a complete small block in the back of their Blazer before? I need to get one home and I'm wondering if my backseat will be in the way.

I actually hauled one in the back of my '97 Yukon. Does that count? I put a couple of towels down to keep the grunge from getting on the carpet, but it fit.

a little trick that works well is lay an old tire down (wider the better)and sit the oil pan right in the middle, helps cushion and keeps it from rolling over

Thing is, I've got a 35" spare back there that I can put in the back seat to make room but I'll be moving out of my dorm room here at school at the same time I haul it back. From the way it sounds it will fit back there. Thanks
