Frankenstein is on the road

ok so i have not told you guys yet but my truck was dubbed the name Frankenstein the other day when i drove it to work so now it has a name, but anywho, today for the first time i drove the truck further than one mile from the house, and man i loved it, i went and got the tags on it today and now tomarrow i have to do a few last minute things and then take it to get an inspection, i am hoping to drive it to the board wide meet this summer, will have to see my financial standing at that point, but man it is low geared, i have a dana 60 4.10 rear end and a 465 transmission, and i am usually shifting into second before i get out of the driveway, cant wait.
oh and while at the gas station tonight i met a girl driving a real nice 69 longbed, talked to her for a little bit but to bad i am moving to east Texas next week, hehehe

this picture was taken last week before i had the hood hinges and cowling installed

krazy, driving in traffic you will learn that you don't even need to use 1st gear of the SM465, unless you are in a REALLY SLOW traffic jam.

have fun!

i have already figured out about the first gear thing i dont use it half of the time anyway. As for the truck i plan on putting it in primer this summer and maybe put a cowl hood on it and a 67 front clip

You have a 3 speed with a granny low. 2nd gear is your take off gear in most situations (unless towing a heavy load). BTW, I like the "Circus Wagon" look...take it from a clown who knows

i am moving to Chandler,Tx i think it is just north west of Tyler about 10 miles off of the loop, and as for all the many colors, i love every bit of it just because how many 20 year olds do you know can say that they built thier truck from scratch in 3 months time.
