cowl hood. roll pan .

I am looking for a cowl induction hood and a roll pan for a 82 chevy truck. I dont care if its new or used just as long as it is steel and in good condition , i have found one for $300.00 + shipping and that is the cheapest i have found . If there is anyone you know of that has one or if you have one please let me know. Im only 16 so i cant afford a $600.00 hood Thanks

Try Custom Classic, they are pretty reasonable on prices.

LOL. I said they were reasonable on their prices, then I went to their site and saw this:

!!!! ATTENTION !!!!
"Due to the inflated cost of steel, there will be pricing increases on roll pans and cowl hoods.
We will also be closing April 8th through the 26th for year end taxes, inventory, and the pricing changes.
The current prices will be honored for online purchases and phone orders made on the 26th and 27th of April. After the 27th, all new pricing will take effect."

Question

Okay you guys are really confussing me! Noble was lots of fun !! There wasnt as many people there as they thought there would be but it was still lots of fun. I found a nother truck its a 84 GMC 3/4ton the body is straight it has one rusted out spot about the size of a baseball behind the passenger side wheel it needs new tires and it has a supposably a new 350 motor or that is what the first dealer told me my dad went and looked at it today and thinks its only a 305 it has alot of vibration. They wanted $2500.00 for it nada book value is 2956.00 now they want $2250.00 we offered them $1850.00 and they told us they would take $1950.00 is it worth it ? Im more than likely going to the bank monday to get the money my dad wants me to get as much as the bank will give me so ill have money to fix somethings. The best part about this truck is its got COWBOY PIPES !! lol, jk. This is a really sharp looking truck cosmetically but it needs some work. Any opinion is good !! If i get this truck the 82 might be up for sale it depends on if i deside to make it into a race truck or not. thanks guys !!!!

yes, i have seen them in person. since they're fairly local (within 100 mi) he's normally at all the local shows. my dad and i looked at one of his hoods (81-87 model) and compared it to several other hoods that we had seen that day on show trucks. i wanna say we saw a Harwood, a Cervinis, and 2 U.S. Body hoods on 81-87 trucks, but i dont remember for sure what all we saw that day. the Advantage hood blew them out of the water. my dad was really impressed with the quality, and he's been working in fiberglass for 25 years.
