Hi.. everyone...

here picture i draw where there is hole on front that design for 81 to 87 chevy cab..
that how i saw.. but also other picture i draw point where has 2 hole on front cab
left and right near hood hinge that design for 81 to 87 but.. how 73 to 80 can hold up
hood in back when you go over 55 mph? does it shake? 73 to 80 has support posts on left and right in front of windshield. 81 to 87 don't have support posts to hold hood in back only front.. so i wondering how it goes??
also other question... here picture file cab-1 i draw where hole on front of windsheild does it hurt when rain water go inside from hole make more rust? do it suppose to weld

i would weld the holes in the cowl up, water *may* get trapped in there, and rust it out. water in that area is the reason i scrapped my 82 cab. as for the ones for the hood hinges, you could let them go, as the area that they open up into has a direct path for water to drain out. this is the same area used for the kick panel vents. the cowl panel (part of the cab) on 73-87 trucks are the same, save for the slots for the hood hinges on an 81+ cab. you shouldnt have any problems bolting the hood bumpers to the cowl panel.

Not exactly sure what your asking [not trying to be rude, sorry] but the hood only bolts on with 4 bolts, 2 on each corner in back. No other spots. I would swap everything over: fenders, hood, radiator support, inner fenders

You will have to use the wiper arms from the 73-80 truck if you're going with the 73-80 fenders and hood. The shafts are shorter because they run under the hood. I'm currently in the process of completely redoing my 79 and I'm using an 85 cab and so far everything is going ok.

for straters, the radiator support mounts must match the chassis, being an 85, you will need 81-87 radiator support mounts. as for bolthing this all together and using an 85 hood, it will not work. the hoods are considerably different. im sure you could rig something up for the rear hood bumpers to use the 73-80 hood, as the cowl panels are identical, just the 81-87 has the holes cut for the hinges to recess into, and the 73-80 does not. on 73-80 trucks even the humps where the later style hinges bolt to are there, they're jsut not drilled out.
