In Texas you have to display a front plate.
I got a ticket in the 80's for a no license on my sweet lowered and monochrome 79 el camino... so the upside down plate is my statement against "the man" ...
only once has a cop made any comment. I got pulled for minor speeding.
the cop had a bunch of questions about lowering and how i shaved my door handles... he asked about the plate and I blamed my 12 yo son...(:

as for wheels, i have an eye on some 5 spoke summit racing wheels right now. anybody running those?
