I can't wait to get back in California so I can start on it .(next month ) .
For now I'm in Wash State on vacation .
Had ordered (and have ) the shifter (1981 version) on Ebay .
One worry is if it will clear the bench seat ( of which I don't wanna get rid of ).
The pics of that 79 truck looked like there was just enough room .
