Big Notch / Step Notch - Which One?

Research hasnt drummed up much for me here - I am looking at bagging my truck and want to see what people have done for the rear in a DIY setup.

I am interested in running the Evolve notch (https://www.avsontheweb.com/evolve-63-72-c10-notch-set/) because its already prefabbed, and just needs welded for install, and also is 'longer' (which I would think would help with strength and of course looks) but am curious if it truly has advantage over the normal step notch such as the one Switch sells (https://switchsuspension.com/gm-c-10...piece-c-notch/).

I also plan on running the Firestone sleeve style bags, as Ive heard they ride well in these trucks. Any advisement on the placement? Top of axle? Front of axle? Running a watts link, so rear is not an option.
