Re: 1970 K20 Z62 Full Restoration

Second...As you know, I wasn't super happy with the C10 Nationals experience. Though I had a blast hanging out with board members and friends.

I've got a buddy who is a big AACA guy and he encouraged me to show the truck at one of their events. There was a Winter Nationals show about 2hrs away from me this weekend, so I hauled her up there. An amazing variety of cool cars. My brother and mom drove up and my wife and daughter came. A really fun family weekend.

We scored high enough for a first in our class. I'm new to how they dole out awards, but I am anxious to get my score sheet. They don't tell you what you score at the meet. I have to send away for it by mail...and I'm not sure they give you details on the deductions. You guys can probably tell me more than I know.

I feel like they could ding me for having a battery topper instead of an actual Delco battery. I am also still running a Wix XP break-in oil filter. Those are the things I can think of. They may ding me for other things. But I got no questions from the judges...and I came loaded with docs to support the build.
