I had to change the one in my blazer to the earlier 67-72 style speedo cable to hook up to my autometer speedo.

He's going to take to a cable shop here in phoenix, the shop said that they may have an off the shelf cable but they need to see it first, I think they said the worst case would be around $75 installed. But that won't happen for a while, something went wrong w/ the carb and we pulled off the intake and found several of the cooling ports clogged, long story but were thinking we got duped by the po about the engine being rebuilt, and yes he had receipts.

eddie, it was painted by a small shop downtown, my oldest son knew the owner when he was in the business a few years ago, he does a pretty good job for the price.

Thumbs up

Great job. You and your son should be very proud. I'm looking forward to starting a project with 3rd oldest son, but at the moment he's not responsible enough to take out the trash, feed the cat and keep his room clean. He keeps eyeballing my 51 Stude, screwing off appears to be his top priority.

yeah, I used a 67-72 cable on my autometer phantom speedo and a TH350 tranny. It worked great.
