Where were you guys driving? I was stationed in Little Creek for 5 years and Dam Neck for 3 years. I know how quick that place was growing in the mid 80's, I can't imagine how it looks now. I remember I was working for the Police force during the Greekfest riot in Va Beach, had to be in 87 or 88... must be getting old!
Good luck and don't be too hard on the girl, it happens to the best of us...

Greekfest.... They finally banned that. I've been here since 1982 when I got stationed here and I never left.

All that matters is that you are still alive to be with your daughter and she is doing good. The truck can be fixed. Good luck on the healing too man.

Awww, that don't look as bad as I expected to see. Sounds like you got tore up worse! Good luck on the surgery and healing. I thought we all were going to Vegas for the board meet next year, but if Tim and Shawna are coming to the beach, I might have to make the same plans. Sure would be nice to see you and your family again.

Hey Randy! Glad to hear your OK. I bet that was one hell of a wild ride. I remember when you posted pictures of that truck when you first got it. At least you have a solid truck to work with.
Not much new at Lake Anna! I got my 71 fired up, but I'm still having problems with throttle bracketry and putting the back brakes together! TJ

Don't worry about the truck right now and be glad everything came out for the better and that the man upstairs was watching over you. You need to spend as much time with your daughter because no one knows when something permanent will happen. Glad to hear you all are okay and good luck.

Glad you all made it through the incident without any major injuries. Well I guess a broken collar bone is bad but not life threatening. You definately need to get the truck rebuilt so you can teach the next one.

I agree with nyncompute I work as a firefighter also and ususally if a person is ejected they usally die. I'm glad you are healing and that your daughter was not hurt. P.S.
These pictures will be shown to my wife to prove why I will not sell my truck and to my kids the value of seatbelts. |

geez, well I guess it gives an excuse to do a full resto on the beauty, and for your daughter maybe she should learn to drive on a Geo for a little while till she gets the hang of things, man my 4runner was in a lighter rollover in that and it looked a lot worse!!
