2.5" will be fine if you don't off-road. If you do 4wheel you definitely need 4" to clear 33s. If you go 4" you will need a dropped pitman arm. If you do go with a 4", check out the Off-Road Design shackle flip before you buy rear springs.

LUV2XCLR8, I enjoy your posts, but could you stay away from the shift key? You're giving me eyestrain.

As long as the 33's are on 8 in wheels, they will fit with no lift. Mine currently has a 4in lift with 38 in michelins. I trimed a very small amount from the leading edge of the front fender, but these tires are very narrow, and are on stock wheels with I think 4.75in of backspacing. About equivalent to a 38x10.50. Backspacing is the key, dont let them stick too far out and they won't play tag with the fenders. Look on the ck5 website for some spring rate info. Some lift kit manufactures must assume you are going truck jumping they are so stiff( like my Skyjackers).

If I was doing mine again, I would go with 4in custom springs, like Alcans or ones from ORD for the front, and go with 63 in late model springs in the rear with a shakle flip. I am also going to step down to a 33 or 35in tire when I get an OD transmission. Anyone want some 38" michelins cheap?

I couldn't agree more about custom springs. Many-leafed custom springs with a 4" lift will ride better than stock springs. Alcan is a great custom spring maker. Never heard whether Canada has a high quality custom spring maker.

Without aggresive treaded tires that lift might look out of place. (ie. runnin' all-season truck tires) Them tires sure are sweet looking bodazpa! What kind of tires are those?
