No, it was my Dad's old '77 XJ12. He bought it in the Early '80s, and put a smallblock in it several years later so that he could actually drive every now and then. As his health declined, so did his Jag (and the rest of his cars).

It was in such bad shape when he died last year that I sold it to a friend for $300. He put the engine and transmission in his S10, kept the rear end, and scrapped the rest. He said the wrecker driver told him chunks of rusty floorboard flew off for most of the trip to his shop.

My Dad had a lot of time and money in that car. I really hated to see it decline like that. It was hard to see it go.

That was and is a good-looking body style. Nothin' to get one movin' like giving it Chevy power!
