Mine had a good paint job, but it was put on over cheap-cr*p prep work. I knew at the time I'd end up having to re-do it all someday, and I still bought the truck.

Tomatocity's advice seems like a good plan, to me.
"Buy it, drive it, enjoy it, and don't look back."

A year from now, it'll seem like you made a steal at that price. These steppers in that good condition are getting harder to find every day; most of them around here are absolutely beat-to-death farmer trucks.
