She's a 60 or 70-footer right now, but everything under the sheetmetal is new. I almost don't want to do the body work and paint, i might be scared to drive it after that.

Steven, your truck sits exactly the way I want my blazer to sit. How hard was the c-notch? Did you pull the bed to do it?

So let me get this straight-Do you have to c-notch when you lower a blazer 6 inches in the rear?

I don't own a 2wd, but may in the near future

Yellow69, I have a 6" drop with NO c-notch. Anything greater then 6" will need a c-notch.

Roger, I did pull the bed to do my c-notch. The bolt-in c-notch has like 5 steps on the intructions, HA... That thing was a pain to put in. You have to grind rivets out (the worst part of the install), cut out the portion of the frame, then when you get it all going back together at least 2 of the bolts were too long (they were hitting the crossmember behind the axle.) And in the end it basically puts a spacer between the top of your springs and the frame. I'm thinking about welding mine in because I think I want it to be a little stronger so I don't get nervous the next time I go to tow something. If I had it to do over again, I would bypass the bolt-in notch and make my own out of some pipe, then box in the frame right there.

If you do go with the bolt-in, I know that it can be done without removing the tub on a Blazer, but it has to be a pain in the @ss.
