i didn't know the flatbed was an option back then. The PO made the one thats on my truck out of whatever scrap wood he had layin around the farm

Mine has a plate, next to the VIN plate, that states it was put on in 1970, so it was added when the truck was new.

Hey 71 Blazer,you`re educated.From what I can see,it is a factory.A bed could have been put onto a 60s truck that started off on a 50s truck and still look factory.I`d like to have a set of wheels like the one on the left-rear off that truck.It`s the only original on it.
RicksTrucks,You have the 8.25" wheels on your truck.I wonder if they were on it from the factory.They were an option.Are they listed on the VIN-spec sheet?
