Re: Lund vs. Extang
I ran a Truxedo on my 82 and I loved it. It was always tight in hot or cold and they claim to warranty it for life. (I never had to find out though) It has a one latch design rather then having to pull 2 latches to get the cover open.
I have also been curious about the trifolds, but with my gooseneck on my dually, I believe that I will go with another soft cover. I would love to go with the Truxedo again but they are spendy. But, with a lifetime warranty............I'm still tossed up. I had my Truxedo for a little over a year and saw no issues. Except for you don't want to stack too much on the rails. I loaded a bunch of hay in my truck one day and one of the rails slid down a bit. I just had to readjust it though.
