I do remember a roof spoiler being an option in the 70s. You can see the bottom edge of one in this pic from 73-87.com that is appearing in the "Is it really that rare" thread right now:

I catch a lot of crap for having a lowered truck with 15" tires and Dumbo ear mirrors. I don't care. Its what I like.

Keep what you have and enjoy it. It wil look great when it is done.

Ah well I guess you can expect me to be with you catchin' crap b/c I'm hell-bent on lowering my truck 2/4 with my 15x8 wheels on 255/70s because that's what I want.
