Re: Who makes bigger front discs?

I think our brakes are pretty good for stoping right now, i just bought a rear disk setup for mine but the fronts are almost 12" and 1.25" thick. Unless your doing alot of towing, then you should have trailer brakes. Now if you wanna look good with 13 or 14" drilled and slotted and powder coated calipers then you have to spend some $$ ... I would love to have those sitting under my 20's but for $2k i'll just keep my stock 11.75"'s..

I want 13" brakes up front to help stop the truck better & fill up some room in the window of the 20" wheel I would like to get.

Yes the 12" brakes work but 13" brakes would work even better. The stock 12" rotors look good up to an 18" wheel. IMO, after that they look out of proportion to the wheels 'window'.

I really like the looks of the SSBC set-up & it would be perfect for me if the rotors came plated but w/o the slots.

EDIT* Errr.... it would be perfect if the rotors came plated but w/o the slots & IF the price was better.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
