Re: Who makes bigger front discs?

a brake lathe isn't going to be able to do some of it .... you need a lathe that will not only cut the FACE of the rotor, but one that will cut the O.D. as well.

let me know if i can help.

Correct, but I can do some myself it will save money. I can probably get the trade school to most of the rest for free.

It would be sweet if those would work @ $58 for the pair. They are 5 on 5.

I agree Shane, but it can be done with a regular brake lathe.
Here is a shot of an aftermarket aluminum hub and a brake rotor that's been cut down with a brake lathe.
A buddy did this mod on an S-10 and it came out really nice.
When doing the "cut down rotor" you need to remember that the hat or new rotor will kick your wheel out 1/4 inch or so.
It also may be difficult to find a regular rotor that will fit over your cut down rotor hub. It may be easier to use aftermarket hats.

I'm trying to find an article that gave us the idea for the "cut rotor hub"....as soon as I find it I'll post it. If I remember , it was short but fairly informative.
