BADBOW's new engine!!!


GM crate ZZ4. Sequence number 1232!!
Found it on Craigslist!!! The motor was taken out of a totalled Vette. I purchased the ZZ4 from the second engine owner who never installed it. I went through it.

The engine and motor are back in the truck. I'll post those pictures as another topic.

big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in

and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one

gchemist that's a sweet motor and I'm sure it will fit perfectly into BADBOW. I have always been a fan of your truck and BADBOW's webpage. Nice find.

My brother and I did a lot of work in one day. The hardest part was drilling the frame for the custom transmission crossmember. I also converted from a one bolt tranny mount to a two bolt type. The preloaded mount should put more power through the wheels. The next hardest modification is trying to route the dual ram air box intakes for the 91 grill. Once its running, it's on for a truck gathering at the track in Temple!!!
