Hey Corn that is what I am doing I said **** this thing is ready for the road and with epoxy prime and all new panels and no plans to get it wet hell it's ugly but it runs great , not like a 396 which is my plan a big block over the winter....but I think a 454 But drive it man its fun, the smell of unburnt gas and things breaking down here and there....great stuff. LOL

Thanks guys! I just finished bolting the bed on & located a pair of free tail lights today, so Im on my way to go take them out now. I dont have any cash for new carpet so I think Ill just put the buckets & console back in & cruisssssssssssssssssssssse! Smokey burnout pics to come...

Just drive it! Looks pretty good from the pics- that satin black is starting to grow on me. I think you have a pretty nice truck!

i love that truck. It is identical of how i would like mine to look. My goal is next summer so maybe during the winter i can get some satin black sprayed on my truck. But anyway when you flipped the rear axle to the top of the springs did you have to c-notch the frame or is there enough room for suspension travel that you dont have to?

I took it for a short spin last night & cruised a little while tonight after it stopped raining. Those 40's drone BAD but sound sweet! I live in a small town & tonight every time I wanted to stab it a little, I could see the town cop on the other side of the block keeping tabs on the "new truck in town". I think he still remembers my last toy! He will slip up & go home for a while & Ill get my chance to true up the BFG's!
