That sounds pretty trick. I will do a search to see if I can find any pics. What kind of release was it? A button? A normal handle you pull?

it was a normal pull handle, but it was oriented vertically instead of horizontally. it was right next to the pin in the door that turns on the dome light when you open the door.

in my truck I spliced a momentary push button inline with the ignition, so you have to hold down the button while you turn the key, otherwise, nothing happens(well the radio will turn on!) the button right above the brake release]

not exactly a hidden button, but would prolly work better( as theft deterrent) if it was actually Under the dash.....
