Re: to lower or not to lower...
Not sure if he is kidding or not...either way, I can see how the case can be made for lowering it or not lowering-mainly it seems to come down to preference of the driver. I'm a "middle of the road" kinda guy, so I think I *will* probably do the 2/4 lowering and then make up the difference with larger rims/tires...
In the meantime, everyone's trucks look good in a different way-haven't really seen a crappy looking pic (well, unless you decide to post a FORD or DODGE, and then you're on your own )... Thanks for all the advice-I'll post some more pix when I'm ready to do that part (probably in a few months)... Last edited by elektrik; 12-12-2007 at 08:54 PM. |

Re: to lower or not to lower...
my rule is that you need to be able to dry off the top of the cab at the carwash without climbing into the back or standing in the door jam.... so to reach to the middle it must come down........

Re: to lower or not to lower...
I think these short fleet trucks look 'right' lowered, but to each his own.
I could not see myself driving this truck stock height........ ElCamino? I have hauled more weight in this tuck lowered than I did with my Elkie stock height ever
