sheet metal gauge?
What gage sheet metal do I need to weld up the firewall? I am removing all the ac stuff and want to fill in the holes. Thanks

Sorry I can't give you a number guys, I bought a new COMPLETE front end including hood and new doors for mine.
I used the old doors and hood for patch panels, You may hit the scrap yard for a damaged door/hood to cut panels from. May even be cheaper than buying new sheet metal.

I've been using 20 gauge on mine. seems to be real close to the thickness of the original.
