Interesting phantom grill

Check this one out. It uses some of the elements of a later model phantom grill.

I agree with Ryan. I don't like the flares but the others I like.

I like it, on someone elses truck. Just not my first choice, but I think it looks really good. I kinda like the wrap-around lines onto the fenders.

The ones Low 84 showed are kits from AIM
They look good, but consider the source...

The body lines from the grille that wrap around to the sheetmetal wouldn't bother me if they actually matched the factory bodyline in the upper portion of the fender. It almost looks like an afterthought.

79BIG10, AIM usually buys a 10+ page ad in Truckin showing some old tool in a tux top and shorts hawking his crappy excuse for custom parts. They are the true epitomy of you get what you pay for. They have notoriously horrible customer service.

He's right. Bad products, horrible service and restocking fees of 30% on orders, even if they made the mistake. :read:

Talking

Those pics are way cool, i got an 83 and my grill is kinda beatup and i was thinkng of either putting a phantom type billet grill like the pics here or just swap out for a 89-91 front end which is pretty pricy....i was wondering how hard is it to actually put these grills on, do you have to take the light housing things off? Is there a good site where these grills are for sale?? please let me know...

The phantom grill attaches just like a regular grill except it covers the head lights (right)? G-Chemist not to be confused with O-Chemist has done this swap along with a few other guys. G-Chemist has a whole thing about it one his site: http://www.geocities.com/abetterchemist/
