Thanks! It is because of the great board members like you guys that share pics, tips and their experience that I was brave enough to give it a try.

Here's to the best site on the net!

Well almost ...

it's probably the perspective of the 3/4 shot but it's actually a long
bed
bought it last year with well documented low miles
agree the colors especially the tan is ugly times ten
the paint on my truck is in excellent condition and the dark
brown is actually a beautiful color when she's clean and waxed but
only really pops up close and at ten feet with the
tan/beige it leaves al ot to be desired but I love this truck
am trying to come up with a good color to cover the beige and brighten it
up something in a light gold champagne tone
any post some pics of yours for me Sean
mine is a standard sierra 700r4 305 a/c power brake manual windows and locks
tan cloth seat with headliner carpet all in good shape will have to post
some interior pics soon

Re: WHat did you get done 6/29/08 edition

Impalamark: I'll get some pics up soon. I never really thought of putting pics up on the board yet cause, well, I don't know why. I'll try and take some at lunch today and see if I can figure out how to throw them up on here. Mines a 1981 Sierra Grande with a 250 inline 6 and 350 automatic. It kind of has weird options, and I'm trying to find out where I can decode the VIN. All I seem to see on the net is decoders for chevys. Anyway, it has air conditioning and dual gas tanks, crank windows and manual doors, cigarette lighter, delay wipers, and cargo lamp, bench seat and rubber mat floor, and no headliner. I do know that it was an Arizona truck that a guy bought new in 81 while in the air force. At some point he was transferred to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, as it still has the sticker on the lower windshield. I bought it from the original dudes friend whom he sold it to. It has very little rust. It had a cap on it that matched the tan color, so when I took it off the bed looks brand new. It has 120,700 miles. Sorry for the long post, and when I take the pics, should I just start a new thread since this really isn't what I got done the week of 6/29/08?
