Attention EVERYONE!!

I'm not a writer, and I just kinda threw something together quick, trying to hit the high points and summarize somewhat.

If Grant is OK with it, feel free to try and outdo me!!!!!!!

Its not a matter of outdoing anyone...we don't want to flood Grant with emails.

That's why I said "if Grant's OK with it"

I just figure there's a couple hundred people here who could do a better summary.

Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot

its all good guys, lets not lose sight of what this is for at all. Grant had messaged me asking for information and I asked 70cst if he would do a summary for this. Thats why he posted here that it was being done. Either way, the fact that Grant has the info is what was needed and is all good.

70cst go ahead and email me the writeup you did, and I will add it to the main page of the site for more exposure.

DAN42-Classic Truck Magazine is in route.

kyull67-Classic Truck Magazine is in route.

ksjh1316-Classic Truck Magazine is in route.

Riveted1-Classic Truck Magazine is in route.

Hart_Rod-it was requested that we auction it off or use it in some other way that would benefit Dawn. Here is my idea and tell me wht you think Hart_Rod...and others?

I will take this magazine and when the ebay auction is over copy the final selling price and give Dawn a copy of this magazine with the ebay final selling price. This is just an idea. What do you all think?

Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot

That is a great write up.
Has anyone told Dawn about this? I hope this doesn't overwhelm her.
BTW when are we going to hear from her on the forum?

We might need to wait to tell Dawn. I don't think she's been feeling well. I sent her the link to the build thread in an email, so I am pretty sure she has it.

Looks like the Magazine is holding at $256 with 1 day 5 hours to go. This is selling for more than I thought. Good job all!

Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot

Wanted to share a recent email from Dawn's daughter Becky.
Trai,
Thanks. I will tell her. I think you deserve to know somethin. Before yall came into her life, my mom was a very different person. to be honest, we thought we were gonna lose her from a broken heart. She has a recording of my dads voice that he left for her on my cell phone while we was workin. It was 2 weeks before he died. It says hey beck, tell mom santa clause came. He had bought her christmas present. She put it on a tape recorder and she would take it and spend hours or days either at the cemetary, or sittin in Ol Girl. She worked on stuff around here till her hands bled, and she never slept. When yall gave her that money, she was able to get the electric & water hooked up in her new trailer and all she talks about is what yall are doin for her. Shes more talkative, and shes so excited that she will actually be able to DRIVE that truck. We are forever indebted to all of you, and we just love you all for givin us even a part of our mom back. Shes just a very humble person and NO ONE has ever helped her like this. She doesnt know what to say to yall. Yalls presence in her life has been nothin but POSITIVE!!! Thats why we kinda hoped to surprise her with everything all at once, but we will just ease her into gettin on the forum with yall and she will be just fine! Again Trai, GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU, and THANK YOU!!
Your Friend,
Becky
