Re: Ebay - Chevy truck widower selling their whole lot

Hi guys. I haven't been on this site too long, but I want to say that I got my whole family together a couple of weeks ago and we read every page on every thread about this lady's situation together because my kids are young, (2-girls, 13 & 14, and my boy is 10). I used the generosity, unselfishness, and genuine care y'all have all shown for Dawn and her family as an example of the kinds of roll models I want them to strive to be. I am lucky enough to own one of these trucks even though my dad was killed when I was my son's age and he never got the chance to teach me much about how to work on it. Reading through the threads here has already taught me alot. We don't have much, but as a family, we all wanted to do something to help. I contacted Dawn's daughters and I sent a Home Depot gift card to them that I got from my boss as a Christmas Bonus. I know she's still struggling with repairs to her home so I figured since y'all are working so hard on her truck, maybe we could help out a little in some way after all. You folks are great!! If work picks up soon, I hope to become a site supporter!
