20x14's = a 15" wide wheel (.500 each side for the tire bead to seat). Hypothetically, 20x14" wheels w/approx 9.5" BS will fit w/o narrowing (depending on year model of the rear housing too). The drawback as you mentioned is the 'dish' won't be any deeper than a standard 8" wheel. I would suggest narrowing about 5" total so the back-spacing would be around 7" (or about centered).

FWIW..... the centered wheel is easier to install/remove vs. the wheel w/deep back-spacing.
